Στο προηγούμενο τεύχος του Gratis Technology Magazine, είδαμε το παράδειγμα της Μαρίας η οποία εξαπατήθηκε από κάποιον χάκερ ώστε να του δώσει τον προσωπικό της μυστικό κωδικό. Ο χάκερ, χρησιμοποιώντας την τεχνική του Social Engineering, δε χρειάζεται να είναι αυθεντία στους υπολογιστές για να καταφέρει να διεισδύσει στα συστήματα της εταιρείας σας. Χρειάζεται απλά να εκμεταλλευτεί την ανθρώπινη αδυναμία ή οποία μπορεί να προδώσει ακόμα και τα πιο ασφαλές συστήματα.
